Following the resounding success of our inaugural masterclass in June, which celebrated the heritage of Quinta de Lemos winemaking, we are delighted to invite you to the second edition of our exclusive wine experience. This time, we journey deeper into the story—into the soul of the Reynolds family, whose legacy spans over two centuries in the heart of Alto Alentejo.
A Family Tree Rooted in Excellence
From the arrival of Thomas Reynolds in Portugal in 1820 to the pioneering spirit of his descendants, the Reynolds name has become synonymous with craftsmanship, resilience and devotion to the land. Each generation has left its mark—from cork innovation to the cultivation of native grape varieties such as Alicante Bouschet, introduced by Robert and John Reynolds over 150 years ago.
Today, the seventh generation, Carlos Reynolds, continues this legacy with a vibrant collection of wines that honour tradition while embracing the future. Carlos will personally guide guests through a curated tasting, offering insights into the terroir, the winemaking philosophy, and the stories behind each bottle whilst having the chance to delight in amuses from Chef de Cuisine of The White Room, Tristan de Boer.
An Intimate Encounter with the Wines of Reynolds
Guests will explore four distinct expressions of the Reynolds lineage:
✳︎ Robert Reynolds: Fortified red wine, a tribute to the third generation’s timeless style.
✳︎ Gloria Reynolds: Iconic wines of art and tradition, matured for years before release.
✳︎ Julian Reynolds: Intense reds and a delicate Arinto white, reflecting the Alto Alentejo’s character.
✳︎ Carlos Reynolds: Young, aromatic wines that embody the freshness of a new era.
Join us on 25 October at The White Room for an unforgettable afternoon of storytelling, tasting and connection.
