Following the resounding success of our recent wine masterclasses, we are delighted to invite you to the next chapter of our tasting journey. This March, we shift our attention to the Côte des Bar in southern Champagne, where the Fleury family has been crafting expressive wines for over a century and redefining what sparkling wine can be.
Founded in 1895, Champagne Fleury stands as one of the region’s most pioneering estates. What began with Emile Fleury has grown into a five‑generation legacy shaped by respect for the land, gentle winemaking and a deep commitment to natural farming.
In 1989, Fleury became the first Champagne house to fully adopt biodynamic viticulture, a bold shift that transformed both their vineyards and reputation. Today, Jean‑Sébastien Fleury and his sister Morgane carry this philosophy forward, combining tradition with thoughtful innovation.
During this wine masterclass, Jean‑Sébastien and Morgane Fleury will personally guide guests through a selection of six to eight wines, offering insight into their biodynamic approach, the character of the Côte des Bar, and the family’s evolving craft across generations.
Each wine will be paired with a small, refined dish from Tristan de Boer, Chef de Cuisine of The White Room, created to complement the nuances of Fleury’s expressive wines.
